The
classes are designed to enhance the beginning
level of skills you already have, or to help
new students begin working with computers
for the first time.
Our classes were developed in a four-module
system. The first module teaches the building
blocks of using a computer from beginning
keyboarding skills to saving and creating
files. The Second module covers using text-editing
software to help you create résumés,
letters, and papers for school.
Module three covers the beginning look into
the
Internet and what you need to know. Finally,
module four covers some more advanced Internet
information, as well as basic troubleshooting,
or fixing common computer problems.
The classes are taught on either two Tuesdays
or two Saturdays. The time allotted for the
classes are 9am to 4pm. There is a $10 non-refundable
course fee as well. After successfully completing
the course and paying your $10 money order,
you will receive a computer and 6 months of
Internet dial-up access from ACD.Net.
